I am an American born contemporary dance based Artist, who lived and worked in Europe, Mexico, and Venezuela. I attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for high school with Modern Dance Concentration and received my BFA from Purchase College in 2004 and a Post Graduate in Choreography from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in 2014. I have worked professionally freelance artist with Kazuko HIrabayashi, Sidra Bell, Noemie LaFrance, Tania Perez-Salas, Sue Bernhard, Celia Rowlson-Hall, Stefan Dreher, Hubert Lepka, Yang Jiang, A.J. Weissbard, and Franca Ferarri.
I was a company member with Shen Wei Dance Arts from 2008-2013 and created 6 works as interpreter and dancer, and for whom has influenced my work and life immensely. I continue to work with Shen Wei as project based dancer. Shen Wei evening shimmers with variety"The piece begins strikingly with Sarah Lisette Chiesa, on Video, embarking on a puzzle-limbed solo, increasingly agitated, high above the stage. In theater, I have worked with Steve Cooke of Stella Adler Acting Studio, Jenny Koons with the Odyssey Project NY, public performance art based on Homer’s the Odyssey, and acted in "The Compositor" a bronze student Academy Award winning film by John Mattuizzi. In Milan as part of Illy Red Night and Robert Wilson's group of artists from Watermill Center, I performed in a work by Dorian Silec Petek entitled Stabat Mater Passion.
In collaborative Installation, I have worked with Jacopo Foggini for the Salone di Mobile in Milan in 2015. I worked with Yuval Avital on his project Three Grades of Foreignness at the Fabbrica del Cioccolato Switzerland in 2016. With Piergiorgio Casotti, Mario Vighi, Luciano Bosi based on the book of Photographs "Where Does the White Go" in 2017. With Fabrizio Orsi, fashion photographer, Reggio Emilia in 2018. With Chanhee Choi, interactive media artist, at Oxbow Gallery Seattle in 2019. Feature in film projected in Dresden Biennale by Yuval Avital.
As an independent artist my choreography, installations, and films have been shown in the US at Duo Emergence Gallery Manhattan in 2007, Dumbo Dance Festival Brooklyn/White Wave in 2012, and The Widow Jane Mine Rosendale in 2016. In Springboard Danse Montreal at Mcgill University in 2004 and Usine C in 2014. In Austria at Republic Theater in 2013. In Santiago Chile at the Centro Cultural de La Florida in 2015. In Italy at Spazio Gerra in 2014, Indigo Festival Luzzara in 2015, Expo Milan 2015 Teatro del Arte, Rimini Live Festival, Fotografia Europea Festival and Teatro San Prospero in 2016, and CSAC Parma Museum and Mutty Gallery in Montova 2017. In Bangalore India at Shoonya (Center for Somatic Arts) and 1Shanthiroad Studio Gallery in 2017. Recently, I have presented a work for Stage at Meany Center for Performing Arts in Seattle 2019, performance art piece at ASUW Shell house Seattle 2019.
Currently, I am a Predoctoral Lecturer (teaching intro and intermediate ballet and intermediate and advanced modern) at University Washington and MFA candidate located in Seattle.
I have guest taught contemporary dance for Aterballetto, Balletto Toscano, Liliana Cosi/ Stefanescu Scuola, Choreographic Dance at Fondazione della Danza Reggio Emilia, CIMD Milano, Shen Wei Dance Arts Summer Intensive, and University California Santa Barbara.
